The British Army Motorsports Association to showcase their skills in the Bridgestone Motorsport Arena

The British Motor Show is delighted to welcome the BAMA to this years Show, taking place from the 17th -20th August at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre.
Founded in 1960, The British Army Motorsport Association was formed to co-ordinate motorised wheeled driver training in the Army and in the form of competitive motorsport events as well represent the interests of Army Motor Sports at Service, National and International level. A ‘Recognised Sport’ since 2010 BAMA is organised into 3 groups, covering 8 motorsport disciplines, all with the same vision and mission;
Mission: Giving serving members of the Army the opportunity to participate in Motorsport.
Vision: To excel in the promotion and participation of Army Motorsports, allowing individuals and teams to reach their full potential in order that we become be the best Motorsport Organisation in the Armed Forces.
Major MJ Saunders REME will be leading the BAMA team form behind the wheel of his Sierra Cosworth race car, as they showcase just some of they do, on both 2 and 4 wheels.
