RC Vision bring the thrills of Mini-Z Racing to the British Motor Show

We’re excited to introduce RC Vision, a dynamic social venture igniting young minds with the thrill and excitement of radio-controlled (RC) car racing.
Joining us for the first time in 2023, they are going to be bringing an extra level of excitement to an already buzzing show with live competition racing taking place the kids zone at the heart of hall 1.
As part of this exciting collaboration we are thrilled to announce that RC Vision will be showcasing of one of the most accessible forms of RC motorsport – 1:28 scale circuit racing. Show visitors can expect adrenaline, competition, and pure fun as top racers from the world of Mini-Z compete for pride and glory on our purpose-built indoor race tracks.
But that’s not all. This unique event also offers a wonderful opportunity for all motorsport enthusiasts, especially children, to take control and try their hands at driving these highly sophisticated, realistically modelled RC racing cars. With advanced features like adjustable chassis stiffness, tyre compounds, toe, camber, and suspension, these Mini-Z racers provide an excellent platform to understand the principles of vehicle dynamics and race engineering.

RC Visions mission is to harness the power of fun and accessible motorsport, offering engaging, hands-on experiences to foster a passion for science and engineering amongst children and young people – especially those from underserved communities who otherwise would not have access to the world of motorsport.
Who are RC Vision?
At the heart of RC Vision lies the understanding that education extends beyond traditional learning spaces. With 1:28 scale RC racing, also known as Mini-Z, we’re presenting a highly engaging platform to encourage young people to embrace and understand principles of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

There is a huge skills gap in the UK in the world of science and engineering, and jobs that can’t be filled. Making things work, and figuring out how to make them work better is the heart of science and engineering, and simply put, RC Vision believe that the best learning comes from doing, experimenting, and most importantly, having fun. Their hands-on approach develops key skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and resilience, all while fuelling a lifelong passion for science and engineering.
So, join RC Vision at The British Motor Show! Whether you’re keen to feel the thrill of racing a Mini-Z car, or you’d like to witness top-tier RC racing in action, there’s something for everyone.
