Sporting Bears to deliver even more Dream Rides at this year’s British Motor Show

From Ferraris to Ford Mustangs, MGBs to McLarens, Sporting Bears Dream Rides experience offers the chance to have a passenger ride in the car of your dreams in exchange for a donation to children’s charities.

The British Motor Show and Sporting Bears Motor Club are thrilled to announce they have teamed up again in 2023 to deliver even more Dream Rides at The British Motor Show, from August 17-20.

Sporting bears Motor Club will be the shows Official Charity Partner in 2023, a collaboration that will bring one of the most popular experiences back to the 2023 show, while raising funds for amazing causes.

Sponsored by cinch, The British Motor Show, renowned as the UK’s fastest-growing automotive event, attracts tens of thousands of car enthusiasts and families each year. Since its relaunch in 2021, the show has become synonymous with excitement, automotive excellence and interactive experiences not found at any other motor show.

Once again, this year, we’re teaming up with Sporting Bears, bringing together a community of dedicated classic, sports and supercar enthusiasts who willingly offer their amazing cars to provide the unforgettable Dream Rides passenger experiences.

With an eclectic range of around 40 cars available for Dream Rides each day, the Sporting Bears garage forms an exciting moving motor show, whether you are a spectator marvelling at the stunning cars or going out for a ride in the car of your dreams, our mission is to create memories, put smiles on faces, and leave you with an unforgettable experience of your day at the British Motor Show.

Through this partnership, we’ll be offering a unique interactive automotive experience. Show visitors will be treated to a diverse range of iconic vehicles, ranging from celebrated classics to cutting-edge supercars with the opportunity to take a passenger ride in the vehicle of your choice.

Sporting Bears Dream Rides allows people to experience the thrill of riding in the cars of their dreams, for a minimum donation, creating lasting memories while raising money for charity. Sporting Bears members freely give their time, fuel, and maintenance of their cars to ensure that every penny donated goes directly to the charities they support.

At The British Motor Show last year, the ‘Bears’ carried out more than 750 passenger rides, raising almost £46,000, 100% of which went to charity. And in 2023 they’re going even bigger.

By taking part in Dream Rides, visitors will have the opportunity to contribute to charitable causes supported by Sporting Bears. Generous donations from attendees will directly benefit children’s charities, enabling the ‘Bears’ to continue providing vital assistance to those youngsters in need. This unique philanthropic aspect will add a sense of purpose and community to the British Motor Show, making it a force for positive change.

Established in 1989 Sporting Bears Motor Club are a group of UK wide car enthusiasts with the goal of raising much needed funds for children’s charities. In 2022 the ‘Bears’ raised over £300,000 and have now raised over £3,000,000 in total. Volunteers, partners and sponsors support enables them to ensure that 100% of all donations made go directly to supported charities. The British Motor Show 2023 takes place at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre from August 17-20, delivering a dynamic mix of live entertainment, interactive displays and driving experiences as well as the latest new cars and supercars, alongside classics, modified cars and even tanks! Visitors will also have the chance to hear from and meet automotive influencers and celebrities across the four days.
