Car mad 12-year old takes Transatlantic journey to visit The British Motor Show

National Geographic’s Car SOS superstars Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townshend were starstruck themselves today at The British Motor Show 2022 when they met a very special guest.
Super committed car fan, Brandon Westerfield travelled all the way from Leonardo, New Jersey to Farnborough to attend the show. The trip was a 12th birthday present from his mum – what a gift!
‘Don’t open your mouth, unless you like eating rubber!’ was Brandon’s sage advice after taking a Caterham drift taxi ride.
Along with almost having tyre debris for tea, Brandon was also treated to a couple of Sporting Bear dream rides in an MG Midget and a TVR Chimaera.
When quizzed on his favourite car at the show, his answer was perhaps a surprising one. Despite the selection of delectable supercars and fresh new metal on parade, Brandon’s heart lay with a Citroen BX estate on display in the classic car arena.
‘I’ve never seen one before,’ he stated, adding ‘This show is way better than the New York Auto Show!’
Thanks for the glowing review, Brandon! And thanks for undertaking your epic journey to join us at The British Motor Show.
If, like Brandon, you want to get up close and personal with your dream car – or fancy tasting a bit of warm rubber! – then you can book your tickets for The British Motor Show 2023 now.
