Fancy being part of The Commonwealth Games with your car?

The organisers of The Commonwealth Games are calling drivers of all UK manufactured cars. If your car is red, white or blue this could be your opportunity to feature in the Commonwealth Games Ceremonies this Summer.
The team behind the show are working with our very own tame stunt driver Paul Swift to create the largest and most spectacular show the city of Birmingham has ever seen, for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Commonwealth Games 2022. As part of this, they will be paying homage to one of the city’s most prominent contributions to the world; cars.

The organisers are offering a unique opportunity for vehicle owners to be a part of the show. The experience would include performing in the newly renovated Alexander Stadium in front of an audience of 30,000, with 1 million watching from their homes.
They are looking for 72 drivers to take part in this once in a lifetime opportunity. To achieve the desired visual effect, ideally they would like vehicles to meet the following criteria:
- Vehicle model: Birmingham manufactured vehicle, but will accept UK manufactured.
- Colour: Red, White, Blue (preferred)
- Road worthy
- Vehicle owner
As part of your involvement, you will need to attend a few rehearsals with your car though. These will take place in Birmingham at the rehearsal site, as well as at the main venue itself, Alexander Stadium. There will be 12 rehearsal dates over the June and July months.
There will be a mileage rate which we they will cover for all drivers as well food and drink provided on all rehearsal dates.
Got some free time on your hands and fancy being part of something interesting. If it’s of interest, please contact Adanna.davis-waite@birminghamceremonies.com with your personal and vehicle details.
