Once again, youngsters who want to get their first experience behind the wheel will be given the opportunity of a lifetime at The British Motor Show from 17th – 20th August at Farnborough Exhibition Centre
Returning for 2023, Young Drivers drivers gives 10-17 years olds the chance to have their first taste of life behind the wheel of a real car for the first time, with more cars and more slots available. They will also be bringing their Firefly Bugs – funky little fully-electric Firefly cars for 4 to 10 year-olds to have fun in.
Young Driver specialises in teaching 10-17 year-olds how to drive. The scheme has delivered more than 900,000 driving lessons at 70 private venues across the UK. The emphasis is on safety and fun, allowing youngsters more time to perfect driving skills such as gear changes, braking, parking and steering without the pressures of public roads. Running from 10am to 5:30pm each day, these lessons are extremely popular and with limited advanced bookings available, pre-booked sessions sell out fast. Visitors can also book on the day, but are advised to head for the Young Drivers stand early to avoid disappointment
In their session, your young driver will be under the full supervision of a qualified instructor in a car fitted with dual controls as part of Young Drivers commitment to being with you to support all the family on that journey to getting a driver’s licence, with some fun for the grown-ups and littlest ones too along the way. Responsible learning, in a safe, controlled environment in a fun way, to nurture the future generation of safe drivers – that’s what Young Driver is all about
With advance bookings now sold out, you can still get your hand on an under 17’s driving experience. Just head for the Younger Drivers Zone and book your slot on the day – make sure you get there early, spaces are limited and will sell out fast.
