Haynes Motor Museum, celebrated for its fantastic collection of classic cars and automotive history, furthered its partnership with The British Motor Show in 2024, becoming the Official Education Partner.
As Education Partner, Haynes Motor Museum worked closely with The British Motor Show to ensure that every visitor left the event entertained and having learnt something new that can be applied to their everyday motoring lives.
Haynes delivered sessions the new Motors Kids Stage in 2024, all designed to answer visitors questions about motoring and help put visitors in the driving seat when it comes to buying or maintaining their cars.
A standout feature of this partnership was the immensely popular “Car Maintenance For Kids” session, designed to engage and educate the younger generation of automotive enthusiasts and future drivers.

Opened in 1985, the Museum was the brainchild of John Haynes OBE, mastermind behind the world-famous Haynes car manuals, the global go-to guide for car and motorbike owners. Haynes manuals revolutionised the approach to vehicle maintenance making it accessible to everyone: amateur or professional, novice or expert.
The museum aims to emulate John Haynes’ enduring vision creating a greater depth of insight into every aspect of the motorised world in a clear and engaging way, with the collection providing a fascinating insight into automotive history and science, as well as highlighting the key role the car has played in society for more than a century.
Housed within 15 exhibition areas, its vast collection spans everything from the birth of motoring and nostalgic classics of the 50s and 60s, to glorious Bentleys and Rolls Royces and stunning modern super cars. Marvel at some of the most extraordinary vehicles ever built including an incredibly rare 1931 Duesenberg Model J, a favourite of the Museum’s founder John Haynes OBE – only eight were built and it’s valued in excess of £12m!. Or you can feel the need for speed with a Williams Formula 1 car driven by racing legend Nigel Mansell and the iconic Eighties super car, the Lamborghini Countach. Don’t miss the 1960 Ferrari 250 GT, one of the most classic profiles in sports car history, or travel back in time to the birth of motoring with a 19th century Benz Patent Motorwagen, the world’s first motorised vehicle.
