Here’s what you need to know to make the most of The British Motor Show
The British Motor Show. 17-20 August 2023
The doors to The British Motor Show open in just a few days time, so here’s everything you need to know to make the most of the show.
The show is taking place at Farnborough International Expo Centre. We have 3 huge indoor halls and acres of outdoor entertainment, so no matter what the weather there will be plenty to do and plenty to see, and doors open at 10am. We’ll be opening with a very special opening ceremony each day, so aim to get here early.
Getting to us
We have plenty of FREE parking a short walk or shuttle bus ride from the main entrance, our car parks open at 8am and close at 7pm. Set your sat nav to postcode GU11 2JL for Queens Parade parking, the entrance is on Queens Avenue.
Holders of VIP passes and blue badge parking should follow the signs to Gate F, postcode GU14 6TQ or use the What3words code: hears.ants.tube. Please follow the signposts as you get close to the show rather than sat nav as there are some roadworks in the local area and this will ensure you miss them.
Pedestrians can enter via Gate B, this is also where the Free shuttle buses will drop you off, and pick you up to return you to the car pack at the end of the day. Shuttle buses will run from Queens parade from 8am until 6:30pm.

Food and drink
There will be a wide variety of food and drink, both in the halls and outside. Our main food court is located between the Bridgestone Arena and Hall and the Greatest Hits Music Stage. There will also be a selection of food and drink available on the mezzanine level of hall 1.
Like any large event, queues are most likely between 12pm and 2pm, but you’re welcome to bring your own picnic if you want to avoid any queues. However, no alcohol or glass bottles are allowed to be brought into the event. We will have complimentary drinking water points located in all main halls, so feel free to bring a refillable water bottle.
Test drives
Don’t forget, it’s not just about what you can look at, we also have over 20 different models at the show for visitors to test drive. However, you must make sure you bring your license along. You should also bring along a valid DVLA check code, which you can get HERE.

Booking experiences
There is plenty of stuff for you and the family to do at the show. However, some of the experiences including Crewsade Drift Experience & Under 17 Driving get booked up quite quickly, so we would encourage you to head over and book your spot with them when you arrive.
Don’t miss anything
It’s also worth checking out the schedules before you arrive so that you can plan the thing you really want to see and do. Don’t forget to bring a camera! ( and tag us #britishmotorshow)
