It’s showtime! Crowds flock to Farnborough as BMS 2022 gets underway

The greatest car show on Earth has opened its doors, with thousands of people passing through the doors of Farnborough International for the opening day of The British Motor Show 2022.
With lots of tyre-shredding action, live stunt shows and a successful world record attempt all on Day One, the show was packed with thrills and spills.
As well as a tantalising display of new cars, electric cars and classic cars, the Live Action Arena and Live Stage drew huge crowds. Motoring celebrities including Mike Brewer, Fuzz Townshend, Tim Shaw, Olympic star Iwan Thomas, TV presenter Abi Stevens, former BBC Top Gear host Tiff Needell and – of course – The Stig, the show once again marked its place on the world stage.
The British Motor Show 2022 is based at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, and runs until Sunday August 21, 2022. Tickets cost £18.50, or £37 for a family of four. You can still buy advanced tickets here.
