Caterham Drift Taxi
If you’re looking for a ride that’s a little more extreme, then this is your chance. The Caterham Drift Taxi Experience will give you the chance to take a passenger ride in one of their two-seaters with a real life racing driver and learn the art of driving sideways, perfect for the whole family.
If you’re looking for something a little calmer, head over to their stand and set records on the Caterham Seven Simulator, with prizes on offer for the best times of the day.
Their stand is also featuring The Grand Tour car driven by James May as well as Top Gear’s R-500 which beat Bugatti Veyron’s record time up Pikes Peak after being driven by The Stig himself!
Sporting Bears Dream Rides
Have you ever wanted a ride in a supercar? Or maybe you’re just looking for a way to feel the noise of an American muscle car from the passenger seat.
Maybe it’s a classic British car that you’ve always loved.
Well, thanks to The British Motor Show and the Sporting Bears Motor Club, you can. This year’s event will have an even bigger collection of Supercars, Classic cars and iconic cars, and they’ll be offering even more amazing Dream Rides.

For a small donation to charity, you’ll be able to buy the dream ride of your choice for you (and the whole family if it’s got more than 2 seats!) and be taken on an unforgettable 20-minute trip that you’ll never forget! Iconic cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Mclaren will be available as well as American muscle cars, Classic British Cars, luxurious rides from Rolls Royce and Bentley—you name it!
U17 driving experience
We know, we know—this sounds too good to be true. But it’s not!
If you’re the kind of parent who couldn’t get enough of motor shows as a kid, you’ll definitely want to bring your own kids to The British Motor Show. We remember going to motor shows as children and wishing we could actually drive the cars that were on the stands, so we thought why not make it happen?
Allowing them to actually drive a car is going to be a dream come true for car-mad kids, as well as a first step to them learning the basics of safe car control. You’ll be able to get your kids behind the wheel for a 15-minute driving experience in a manual car fitted with dual controls and with a fully qualified driving instructor.

We’re delighted to welcome Young Driver back to The British Motor Show as our Under 17s driving partner. Once again, their team of specially trained driving instructors will be providing taster lessons for 10 to 17s throughout the weekend. Taster lessons can be booked on the day for £20, book your space now as there will be limited sessions available for pre-booking.
Test Drives
At The British Motor Show, we love cars. We also love people who love cars. So when we put together the show, we wanted it to be about more than just looking at cars—we wanted people to get behind the wheel and experience them for themselves.

That’s why, unlike most others, The British Motor Show isn’t just about static cars that you can look at; at our show, you’ll be able to test drive a heap load of the cars too! We’ll have the latest electric vehicles, the best super saloons and the perfect family hatches available for you to get behind the wheel and take for a test drive. Our Test Drive experience will allow you to check out some of the latest cars for sale. Like what you see? You’ll even be able to buy cars at the show with special show discounts of course!
Electric Ride experience
It’s not just about the cars!
Our Electric Ride experience will allow you to experience how the latest electric bikes and scooters ride, with experts on hand to answer your questions.

This will be a dedicated, indoor area that will let you try out the latest ebikes and scooters, in a safe space.
If these are not enough, there will also be racing simulators, bumper cars, slot racing and plenty of games! Book your tickets to The British Motor Show here or check out how to plan your day at the show.
