“CARmonwealth” games comes to The British Motor Show

For those of you that joined us last year, you’ll remember the fun and chaos that happened at the end of each day in the cinch Live Arena. Our Car football pitched a trio of MINI’s against three Fiat 500’s, righting the wrongs of the Euro Football Final (with a little help from show Stig).
Our celebrities had nearly a much fun as the crowd, proving that social influencers are better than cricketers at car football (isn’t that right Yianni?) but BTCC drivers are clearly the best. If you missed it, check out some footage of the pre event practice HERE.
For 2022 we’re paying homage to Athletics, with the cinch Live Arena hosting our end of day “CARmonweath”extravaganza. So, back in May we brought a few friends along to Farnborough, including automotive royalty Mike Brewer & Abi Stephens and Olympians Iwan Thomas & Greg Searle for a bit of a practice.
Over the four days of the show we’ll be putting two teams of celebrity drivers against each other in a series of Athletic themed challenges including the 4 x 100 Relay, Long Jump and Tug Of War to see who is best at Automotive themed challenges, Olympians or stars from the Automotive world.

It’s guaranteed to create a fair amount of competition and no end of thrills (and likely spills). Last year the teams managed to write off 2 MINI’s and 1 Fiat, so this year we’re hoping for less automotive DNF’s.
The feature will take place at the end of each day at the show and is sure to be one of the most popular sessions of the day. Find out more about the cinch Live Arena and get your tickets now to what is going to be the best day of family fun you’ll have this year, The British Motor Show.
