Vote for your top cars of all time to mark 100 years of the British Motor Show.

Here at The British Motor Show we have been polling the UK’s motoring press and celebrities to name their top cars of all time.
The results of this will help us create our “100 years of the Motor Show” display at the event, sponsored by Snap-On, showcasing the cars that made Britain great.
But will the public survey, come to a similar conclusion as the UK’s self-proclaimed automotive experts, who voted the Jaguar E-Type, original MINI and Audi Quattro into the top ten.

While many of us have a little extra time on our hands, we’re encouraging you to vote for your top ten cars, which will help us award the winning car our “Peoples choice” award.

The results of the survey, which is free to complete and doesn’t collect personal data, will be used to determine the most important cars of the past 100 years and will form a special welcome ‘avenue’ to The British Motor Show 2020, in association with tool and workshop supplier Snap On, which celebrates its centenary this year.

The cars will come from owners’ clubs or manufacturer heritage fleets and each car will have its own information board explaining why it was so important to the UK and to motoring as a whole.
The cars will be displayed in a timeline as a walk-through feature telling the story of automotive development before guests arrive at the entrance to the Show’s main hall.

While a huge focus of this year’s show will be on the latest and greatest automotive technology, we’re also going to be celebrating how we got here with a special walk-through display for people first arriving at the event.

The exhibition will mark 100 years of motor shows and 100 years of Snap On tools with an amazing selection of some of the most iconic and significant cars of all time – but what are they? We’ve polled the motoring media, but we’re going to leave it to you – the public – to make the final decision.

Those wanting to nominate their most significant car should cast their votes below
We’ll be revealing the top tens cars next month and also those that the press chose.
