Under 17 driving lessons at The British Motor Show

We’ve got one ‘L’ of an experience for young drivers at the British Motor Show this year
Youngsters who want to get their first experience behind the wheel will be given the opportunity of a lifetime at The British Motor Show this August.
The Big Learner Relay, which is a group of driving instructors who give up their time for free in the interests of driver education and road safety, will be offering a first-time driving experience to youths aged between 10 and 17 at the show.

A total of 800 slots will be available during the show between the Thursday and the Sunday with a percentage of the proceeds from the initiative being donated to BBC Children in Need.
A 20-minute experience costs £21.25. The tickets will only be offered to people who already hold a show entry ticket, so make sure you book your show tickets now too, however children below the age of 18 get free show entry.
With a limited number of places available for this exclusive experience, sessions will sell out fast, so anyone who wants to treat their youngsters to this amazing experience is advised to book a slot via our website now so as to avoid disappointment.
In their session, the young drivers will be under the full supervision of a qualified instructor in a car fitted with dual controls. The cars used by the Big Learner Relay are supplied by dealer group Arnold Clark. The experiences will take place around the airfield at Farnborough, with a meet point outside the event halls.
We remember going to motor shows as children and wishing we could actually drive the cars that were on the stands, so we thought why not make it happen?
Taking your son or daughter to the British Motor Show and allowing them to actually drive a car is going to be a dream come true for car-mad kids, as well as a first step to them learning the basics of safe car control. This is just one of a the many experiences at The British Motor Show specifically aimed at engaging with the younger generation and making it a great family day out.
With over 50,000 visitors expected through the doors of Farnborough International between August 20th-23rd, dates which have been chosen to coincide with school holidays and make it as accessible as possible for all visitors, we advise people to book their tickets now to make sure they don’t miss out
